Who is Hope Therapies?
Hope Therapies is a well established company based in Coventry with a great reputation among parents and schools. I'm Katie Western, the founder of Hope Therapies.
We are a team of six speech therapists, three occupational therapists and a play therapist. All therapists are self employed and work on a subcontracted basis. We don’t have an office base but there is a lovely team feel and we chat with each other most days and meet up once a half term.
What therapy work do you do?
Currently we offer therapy to children and young people aged 0-25 (we also see adults who stammer). We provide speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and play therapy.
However, we love welcoming new specialities into our team. These are sometimes specialisms within our current therapy spheres, such as speech and language specialisms in ARFID and dysphagia. We also relish the opportunity to expand our therapeutic offering into new fields. Please share your own specialities - we would love to advertise them to our growing client base.
How does your team work?
We work directly with families in their homes or in their child’s educational setting. We also have lots of contracts with Local Authorities for individual children with EHCPs. A couple of us also hire a clinic room in Coventry, so this could be an option for you too.
Our aim is to equip each therapist so that they can provide the best possible therapy services to our clients. This means:
